Living on your bike for several months.
GOOOD BIKING VIETNAM!

We're in Hanoi. Bikes are OK. We didn't have to pay more for the excess weight. At first glance they seem to be allright. Tomorrow we'll start assembling them back. In the meantime we're getting acclimated with a typical dinner on the streets of the old quarter. Sitting on some kind of mini stools on the sidewalk we even enjoied the famous Bia Hoi Beer (5 beers=1$)...

ICE ON FIRE

Crossing the two American continents and experiencing all the different climes as well as catching sight of all the scenery is my vision of a perfect trip. Furthermore in 2008 I was travelling through South America for four months, and also I have sufficient knowledge of the two languages spoken along the Panamericana. This is why I felt even more attracted to ride along this famous road...

PANAMERICANA

Start date: 12 June 2007 in Anchorage, Alaska. Arrival date: 23 January 2009 in Ushuaia, Argentina. We chose to travel by bicycle because it forces us to slow down. For 20 months, we have travelled and learned about different parts of the world, different cultures and, last but not least, ourselves.
